SHAKIRA - SHAKIRA: 'WRITING MUSIC IS LIKE WASHING KNICKERS'

Caption: Shakira Colombian singer-songwriter and honorary chairperson of the 'Global Campaign For Education' spoke at the Capital about growing up in the developing world where parents are desperate to provide education for their children Washington DC, USA ....
Colombian singing sensation SHAKIRA named her first English-language album LAUNDRY SERVICE, because she finds writing lyrics as mundane as washing her underwear.
The UNDERNEATH YOUR CLOTHES hitmaker insists making music is simply part of her daily cleansing routine.
She says, "It's like your washing your underwear. You're not really thinking about how you're going to use it or who's going to see it.
"You just do what you have to do. I have to wash my underwear and I had to write these lyrics."
