SUSAN SARANDON - SARANDON SIGNS UP FOR BELLY-DANCING LESSONS

Actress SUSAN SARANDON has signed up to take up belly-dancing lessons as a special birthday gift to herself.

Sarandon, who stars alongside JENNIFER LOPEZ and RICHARD GERE in the upcoming movie SHALL WE DANCE?, turned 58 on 4 October (04), and she's marking the occasion by getting some tuition in the exotic dance.

She says, "I've already set up belly-dancing lessons for my girlfriends and I for my birthday.

"And trapeze... I used to do trapeze and I haven't done it in a few years. It's good to hang upside down occasionally, so I'm gonna do trapeze and belly-dancing this year."
