HANNAH SPEARRITT - S CLUB TO SPLIT

Pop band S CLUB have announced they are to split live on stage.

The six-piece were performing at London's Docklands Arena tonight (21APR03) when they broke the news to fans.

Speculation that the group would part ways has intensified in recent months. Most members are believed to be planning solo careers and singer RACHEL STEVENS will marry her fiance JEREMY EDWARDS next month (MAY03).

Bandmates JO O'MEARA, TINA BARRETT, HANNAH SPEARRITT, BRADLEY McINTOSH and JON LEE will attend the ceremony along with former S Clubber PAUL CATTERMOLE.

S Club will continue on their British tour this month and promotional duties for their feature debut SEEING DOUBLE but will disband at the end of May (03).
