British actor RUPERT EVERETT has finally begun work on his new American sitcom - and she's now in search of a queen.

Plans for Everett's new series, MR AMBASSADOR, were unveiled last summer (02), and TV network NBC has now started shooting the first episode of the show - which sees the screen star playing a British ambassador based in Washington.

Producers of the show recently sent out a call for a QUEEN ELIZABETH lookalike, stating the fake monarch "must bring her own wardrobe and come fully made up".
