GERI HALLIWELL - RSPCA SLAM HILTON AND CHURCH

Celebrities PARIS HILTON, GERI HALLIWELL and CHARLOTTE CHURCH have been slammed by Britain's leading animal charity the ROYAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS (RSPCA) - for treating their dogs like accessories.

The organisation has been angered by stars including Hilton, Halliwell, Church, NICOLE RICHIE and SIENNA MILLER who carry their pet pooches in their handbags and dress them in outfits.

A spokesman says, "When carrying dogs in bags, there is potential for causing injury. The dog could fall from a height.

"Also, dressing up animals could cause significant stress and the RSPCA advises against it."
