Pop superstar ROBBIE WILLIAMS has admitted taking anti-depressant pills after his break-up from RACHEL HUNTER - in front of 55,000 fans.

The FEEL singer - who kicked off his world tour at Scotland's MURRAYFIELD STADIUM last night (28JUN03) - said he spent a horrible Christmas last year (02) with fellow lonely heart, actor pal MAX BEESLEY.

He told the crowd, "When we were together at Christmas, we had this break-up from two very high-profile celebrities and we were really sad, we were.

"We sat there having this drink and we had a bad time, seriously. I went on the pills then."
