MIRANDA RICHARDSON - RICHARDSON BATTLED WITH KIDMAN'S EGO

MIRANDA RICHARDSON has hit out at her THE HOURS co-star NICOLE KIDMAN, hinting she struggled with the superstar's ego on the set of the 2003 film.

The pair shared a lesbian kiss in the film - in which Kidman played novelist Virginia Woolf - but English actress Richardson insists there was no chemistry, suggesting the Australian star was pre-occupied with her recent divorce from TOM CRUISE.

She says, "I didn't get to know Nicole, or have the most marvelous time. The chemistry wasn't good. It can be difficult: egos, or maybe something's going on in someone's life."
