Making THE DA VINCI CODE was extra special for actor JEAN RENO after he learned author DAN BROWN had written French cop character BEZU FACHE with him in mind. The GODZILLA star was given the news from Brown himself on his first day of filming, and couldn't believe he'd inspired a character in a bestseller. Reno says, "He only told me that when we were shooting in the Louvre Museum (in Paris, France). I was very honoured. "You are very touched to think that somebody is writing with you in mind. It's like having two lives."
