REID GAVE-UP PRODUCING

Music guru ANTONIO 'LA' REID gave up producing music because his sound was "getting old".

Reid, who is now chairman of the prestigious ISLAND DEF JAM record label, is determined to return to hands-on music making when he has gathered new inspiration.

He says, "I'm sure I will do it again, I'm sure I will.

"Honestly I only stopped because I didn't want my sound to get too old and I didn't want my career to end.

"I looked at it and, at the end of the tunnel, I really didn't like what I saw.

"I was like, 'Woah! Abort! Abort! Abort!'"
