RANCID - RANCID'S LARS HAS RARE DISEASE

RANCID rocker LARS FREDERIKSEN is still touring with the rockers despite facing being crippled by a rare spinal disease.

The guitarist admits the DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE will eventually destroy every vertebral disc in his spine, but the music man is happy living for the moment.

Lars says, "I was told not to tour, I was told I'd be on painkilling medication for the rest of my life and they had me popping pills like ELVIS.

"It's a scary f***ing thing to live with, but every day on two legs is a blessing. I'm totally stoked every f***ing day."
