JOEY RAMONE - RAMONE REMEMBERED

Dearly departed punk icon JOEY RAMONE is to be remembered at a 19 May (04) concert at New York's IRVING PLAZA.

The fourth annual LIFE'S A GAS show will feature performances by the ALKALINE TRIO, BEBE BUELL and the DICKIES.

All proceeds from the benefit will be donated to the LYMPHOMA FOUNDATION. Ramone died of the disease in 2001.

The bash will also feature supergroup FRIENDS OF JOEY RAMONE,which features punk luminaries like MARKY and TOMMY RAMONE, RICHARD LLOYD and CHEETAH CHROME.

STEVEN VAN ZANDT will host the event.
