QUEEN LATIFAH - QUEEN LATIFAH PUTS HIP-HOP ON HOLD

QUEEN LATIFAH is taking a break from hip-hop to nurture her career onscreen.

Latifah, who stars alongside LL COOL J in LAST HOLIDAY, admits she needed to take a step back to focus on one thing at a time - but her heart will always belong to rap music.

She says, "I have so much going on inside of me. I just need to take the moment and put my energies to what's happening right now right then.

"When my film career started to go there, I had to focus my energies on building it. Not trying to do everything at once. I have to streamline.

"But I'm gonna be a hip-hop head for life."
