PRINCE has scored his first number one debut in the US album charts after selling 183,000 copies of his new album 3121 in a week. The album is the pop superstar's fourth chart-topper on the Billboard 200 and his first since 1989, but it marks the first time he has entered the list at the top. The HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL soundtrack has slipped to number two on the new chart, while British singer/songwriter JAMES BLUNT fell one spot to three. Meanwhile, there were three other top 10 debuts behind Prince rapper BG's THE HEART OF THA STREETZ, VOL 2 bowed at number six, BEN HARPER's BOTH SIDES OF THE GUN entered at seven and newcomer TEDDY GEIGER's UNDERAGE THINKING debuted at number eight.
