PLUMMER TACKLES CATHOLIC ABUSE SCANDAL IN NEW FILM

A BEAUTIFUL MIND star CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER has signed up to appear in a movie about the Catholic Church's recent sexual abuse scandal.

In OUR FATHERS, to be produced for American cable network SHOWTIME, Plummer will play CARDINAL BERNARD LW, who resigned as archbishop of Boston, Massachusetts, while under fire for mishandling abuse cases.

Filming will begin in June (04).
