Rocker PINK has recorded a song written by her Vietnam veteran father on her new album I'M NOT DEAD.

The TROUBLE singer recalled singing the tune, I HAVE SEEN THE RAIN, with her dad at functions when she was a child, and she asked him for permission to record the song on her album.

She says, "He wrote it during the Vietnam War and I used to perform it with him at veteran functions.

"It's still relevant today because we're producing vets by the thousands."

Pink's new album gives the pop star the chance to air a few political thoughts - as well as her father's anti-war song, she also includes a song called MR PRESIDENT, in which she tackles PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH's policies on homelessness, prison overcrowding, abortion and gay rights.
