PIA ZADORA - PIA ZADORA BATTLES WITH BUDDY ROGERS. WIFE

Actress PIA ZADORA is taking the widow of late movie star BUDDY ROGERS to court - over a dispute surrounding a tennis court.

THE CLAPPING SONG singer Zadora wants at least $2 million (GBP1.3 million) from her Beverly Hills, California, neighbour BEVERLY ROGERS, whom she accuses of interfering with the construction of her tennis court.

Zadora, 49, lives on the fairytale estate of screen legends MARY PICKFORD and DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS. In 1992, she and Rogers swapped land so that tennis fan Zadora could build a court.

Once the deal was struck, however, American tabloid the STAR reports Zadora abandoned the tennis idea - until last autumn (02). The problem is, Rogers has now changed her mind too, and doesn't want to put up with the sound of bouncing balls.

A source says, "It's old Hollywood money versus nouveau riche invaders. Mrs Rogers tells people she never liked having Pia as a neighbour, and vice versa."
