WALK THE LINE - PHOENIX DESPERATE TO UNPACK

WALK THE LINE star JOAQUIN PHOENIX has set himself the task of moving into his new Hollywood home in 2006, after spending the last eight months looking at crates and boxes.

The actor has been so busy shooting and promoting his JOHNNY CASH biopic he didn't find time to move into his new pad.

He says, "I got it (new home) a while ago but I never really unpacked everything, so it looks like I've just moved in. Everyone comes over and they think I've just moved in. I've had it about eight months.

"How do you do the real move in? You have to go shopping and buy the things."

Phoenix has found one benefit to not unpacking - he doesn't have to look up to see his art pieces.

He explains, "I just put them on the floor, I think it's easier to see that way... You can hurt your neck if you look up... This is the perfect level. I have had a very bad neck since I was young."
