PETER - PETER, PAUL AND MARY STAR ILL

PETER, PAUL AND MARY star MARY TRAVERS has been diagnosed with leukaemia and is undergoing chemotherapy.

The 67-year-old folk legend is expected to fully recover from her illness and plans to join bandmates PETER YARROW and NOEL PAUL STOOKEY for a spring (05) tour.

Travers' publicist KEN SUNSHINE says, "Mary looks forward to touring again with the trio soon, and is grateful for the well wishes that have come to her from all over the world."
