NICK NOLTE - NOLTE AND LAVIGNE MAKE ANIMATED DEBUTS

Movie star NICK NOLTE and Canadian rocker AVRIL LAVIGNE are making their animated voiceover debuts in DREAMWORKS forthcoming feature OVER THE HEDGE.

Nolte and Lavigne will join BRUCE WILLIS, WILLIAM SHATNER and WEST WING star ALLISON JANNEY as a variety of cute woodland characters in the film adaptation of a popular American comic strip.

ANTZ film-maker TIM JOHNSON will share directing duties with KAREY KIRKPATRICK - who wrote the screenplay adaptation of cult classic HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY with the late DOUGLAS ADAMS.
