NICKELBACK - NICKELBACK STAR HOPING FOR TIME OFF TO PLAN HIS WEDDING

NICKELBACK rocker CHAD KROEGER is desperate for a break in his hectic recording and touring schedule because he wants to start planning his wedding to fiancee MARIANNE.

The Canadian star is keen to exchange vows with his beautiful girlfriend, who he fell for at a concert, but wants to play his part in the organising of the big day - and not leave it all to his bride-to-be.

He says, "I want to have enough time off the road to be able to work with Marianne on the wedding instead of being on the road and her doing all the work and me flying into town, putting on a tuxedo, running down the aisle, saying 'I do,' giving her a kiss, putting a ring on her finger and running out the door to the airport."

And the couple have a couple of settings in mind for their big day.

Kroeger explains, "We're thinking we might do it in Victoria, British Columbia. There's a castle there that we've been looking at.

"But we're also building a home right now in Mexico that will be finished 1 January. It's near Cabo San Lucas, and it's beautiful."
