GREASE - NEWTON JOHN TOTALLY DEVOTED TO GREASE TROUSERS

GREASE star OLIVIA NEWTON JOHN refuses to sell the infamous satin trousers she wore in the hit movie musical - despite the fact she can't fit into them any more.

The Australian singer, 55, admits she had to be sewn into the figure-hugging trousers for the classic climax scene opposite JOHN TRAVOLTA, and 27 years later, she can't even fit a leg into the outfit.

But she's rejected numerous cash offers for the garments, because she enjoys showing them to her friends and reminiscing about her slender character in the popular high school movie.

She explains, "I've still got them folded up in the bottom of my wardrobe. I hardly ever get them out unless I have friends over and they beg me to have a look at them.

"There's no way I'd ever sell them. I mean, I might not be able to fit into them, but I like to look at them and remember a time when I could. Every girl has a pair of skinny pants at home that she can't get into anymore, right?"
