Hip-hop star NELLY was once accosted by a crazed fan who insisted he was the father of her 14-year-old son.

The DILEMMA singer, 30, is used to fans camping outside his hotel room, but he'll never forget the terrifying encounter he was forced to confront several years ago when a woman refused to accept he was not the dad of her teen offspring.

Nelly, real name CORNELL HAYNES JUNIOR, recalls, "I get people throwing rocks at my hotel when I'm in town.

"I also had a girl who drove all the way from Houston, Texas, who insisted that I was her baby's father.

"Her son was about 14 years old. And I'm like, 'Sweetheart, how old do you think I am?' I mean everyone knocks a few years off their age in showbusiness, but Jesus, fathering a child of 14 when I was what 10?"
