Supermodel NAOMI CAMPBELL exceeded her reputation for lateness recently - by twice failing to turn up for modelling jobs at all last week (ends11APR03).

The famously temperamental madam was supposed to fly from Milan to London on Wednesday (09APR03) to be photographed by rocker BRYAN ADAMS, but left the WAKING UP THE NEIGHBOURS hitmaker and his crew waiting patiently all day while she failed to put in an appearance.

And despite firm promises from Naomi's representatives that she would appear the following day for a charity swim wear photo shoot, the tempestuous diva again stayed away, according to British newspaper the SUNDAY MIRROR.

An insider comments, "When word came that she wasn't going to make it, no one was that surprised. Naomi is notorious for keeping people waiting and being quite difficult. It's just that because it was for charity there was a hope that this time things might be different. But obviously not."

Naomi, who has enjoyed many stormy romantic relationships, finally showed up for the Bryan Adams shoot two days late.
