MYLEENE KLASS - MYLEENE HOOKED ON CLASSICS
Former HEAR'SAY singer MYLEENE KLASS has turned her back on pop and returned to her classical roots after signing a $1.5 million (GBP1 million)-plus record deal.
Myleene - who plays the piano, violin and harp - has landed a six-album deal with UNIVERSAL CLASSICS.
The curvy star found fame just over two years ago when she made the final line-up of Hear'say, put together on British TV show POPSTARS.
But after huge success with their debut single PURE AND SIMPLE and subsequent album, the group split amid public apathy and internal acrimony.
Mylene says, "Pop was great but with classical music I feel like I'm coming home.
"I started playing the violin and piano when I was four, then I took up the harp when I was about 11 or 12. Before I could even read I was expressing myself through music.
