KATE MOSS - MOSS STAYS AT CHANEL

British supermodel KATE MOSS has signed a new contract with fashion giant CHANEL to carry on as a spokesmodel for its perfume range.

Moss was presumed to have been dumped by the firm - for whom she has been the face of fragrance COCO MADEMOISELLE since 2001 - when her contract expired last month (JUN04).

But a spokesperson for Chanel insists, "The initial contract did come to an end but our artistic director, JACQUES HELLEU is a great friend of Kate's and he wanted to continue working with her.

"We never said she wasn't going to star in the next campaign. Now she has signed another contract and the new campaign will begin early in 2005. The legalities of the contract are still with the lawyers so I can't say how long it is due to last and we haven't yet decided who will shoot it."
