EVANESCENCE - MOODY GOES SOLO

Former EVANESCENCE star BEN MOODY is planning to show off his voice on a new solo project.

The guitarist quit the group a year ago (03) after splitting up from girlfriend and frontwoman AMY LEE and now he's planning to go it alone after spending much of this year writing hits for AVRIL LAVIGNE and KELLY CLARKSON.

Moody plans to enter the studio in January (05) to begin work on a new album, which is slated for release next summer.

The rocker was inspired to record his own material after scoring a hit with THE END HAS COME for THE PUNISHER soundtrack with GODHEAD singer JASON MILLER.
