BRAD PITT - MODEL: 'I REJECTED BRAD PITT'

Hollywood star BRAD PITT tried unsuccessfully to seduce APRIL FLORIO, according to the American model.

Reports last week (10FEB05) claimed the TROY star had enjoyed a fling with the MAXIM magazine beauty, just a month after announcing his split from wife JENNIFER ANISTON.

Pitt furiously denied the rumours, insisting his assistant was mistaken for the woman in snaps of the actor in Los Angeles' Venice Beach and he was not the man pictured with Florio in Greece.

But Florio, 22, has spoken out and claims she spent three days with Pitt last August (04) while she was auditioning for Troy, during which "He tried to kiss me, but I shied away".

She adds the couple met again three times, twice in Los Angeles and once in New York, trips Pitt paid for.

Florio tells US WEEKLY magazine, "He was attracted to me. We drank wine and chatted."

When she rejected his advances, Florio says, "He was shocked. He asked me why. I told him. I did not want to get involved with someone in the industry."

The magazine claims she later told an ex-boyfriend, "Who is gonna want to hire me for a movie if they think I broke up Hollywood's hottest couple?"

Pitt also told her about his deteriorating marriage to Aniston. Florio adds, "He hated his wife's chain-smoking. He also hated the fact that she liked to hang with her friends or just stay at home. He liked to go to parties more."

And of the actor's much talked about relationship with MR + MRS SMITH co-star ANGELINA JOLIE, "He talked about her like she was a goddess."
