KYLIE MINOGUE is terrified the success of reality talent shows like AMERICAN IDOL and POP IDOL will make future singers unaware of other routes into the music industry.

The FEVER beauty enjoyed the novelty of the first season of Pop Idol and was briefly hooked to watching every single episode, but soon became bored as one series followed another.

She says, "I saw the first Pop Idol as it was a novelty and I was hooked. But I've lost interest. It's been going on for long enough now that there will be kids who think that's just the way it is."
