Hollywood actress MINNIE DRIVER will never pile on weight for a movie role, because she couldn't bare to be criticised for being fat.

The 35-year-old is bitter about the way men and woman are treated differently when they put on weight for roles.

She says, "When a man puts on weight for a part, he's called a great actor. When a woman puts on weight for a part, she's called fat. It's so unfair. I was a bit lardy a*sed for a while, and then I was fit again."
