JAY LENO - MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN THRILLED WITH BASEBALL INVITE

Chat show host JAY LENO has helped pal MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN realise one of his dreams - by persuading authorities at baseball team CHICAGO CUBS to invite the movie star to sing for them.

THE GREEN MILE star bemoaned the fact he had never been asked to sing the Seventh Inning Stretch at the ballpark in the American city where he grew up, on Leno's show on Wednesday (29OCT03).

But Leno was well prepared - and he presented the hulking star with an official letter from the Cubs management, inviting Clarke Duncan to sing baseball anthem TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLPARK next season (04).

The thrilled actor said, "This is real? Wow."
