Oscar-winner SIR MICHAEL CAINE maintains keeping a level head is the secret to a fulfilling life.
The BATMAN BEGINS star insists he never gets angry and prefers to contain his emotions - a valuable lesson taught to him by his mother.
He says, "Hatred is an extremely deep emotion. Why would you want to waste it on somebody you don't like? The most harm I ever do to anyone is ignore them.
"Be like a duck. That's what my mother used to tell me - calm on the outside, paddle like hell underneath."
