LATEST: Two men have been charged with attempting to extort $1 million (GBP550,000) from celebrity couple MARC ANTHONY and JENNIFER LOPEZ in exchange for their 2004 wedding video.
TITO MOSES, 31, and STEVEN WORTMAN, 49, were arrested in New York City on Tuesday (27DEC05) following weeks of negotiations with the couple's legal advisers.
The video of the couple's June 2004 marriage ceremony was on Anthony's laptop computer, which was stolen along with the singer's Cadillac, in Linden, New Jersey on 30 October (05).
After failing to sell the videoed nuptials to American magazines People and US Weekly and TV show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD, the two men attempted to bribe Anthony into buying it back.
Moses and Wortman were arraigned on Wednesday (28DEC05) in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges of conspiracy, attempted grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
