SCISSOR SISTERS star ANA MATRONIC despises popular Christmas traditions - and would prefer to jump over a fire with her favourite witches.

The LAURA singer admits sitting around a table eating dinner with her relatives would never be her first choice of festive entertainment, because her pagan beliefs provoke far stranger desires within her.

And Matronic insists there would be no sign of SANTA CLAUS at her yuletide bash.

She says, "I would definitely do the traditional pagan winter solstice party with perhaps a lamb roast on a spit, and jumping over a bonfire and lots of hot spiced wine, and tarot cards and very medieval goings-on.

"I'd invite all my favourite witches. Who wouldn't I invite? Santa. I would not invite Santa, he is not allowed."
