DAMIAN MARLEY is furious with critics who blast reggae as the only homophobic form of music, because he believes the rock and rap genres are just as guilty of producing anti-gay material.

The WELCOME TO JAMROCK hitmaker, who is the son of reggae legend BOB MARLEY, insists it is unfair to attribute the rise of homophobia to reggae, because music is just a reflection of everyday culture.

And he believes reggae music is mercilessly targeted because it's a relatively small and financially weak genre.

He says, "It's a funny thing. Reggae is not the big money music. So, when they fight against our music millions of dollars are not being lost.

"A lot of rock groups and hip-hop groups speak against homosexuals in the same way, yet they don't really get this fight."
