SPIDER MAN - MAGUIRE GETS JUSTICE WITH NEW MOVIE
SPIDER-MAN hunk TOBEY MAGUIRE has inked a deal to produce a big-screen adaptation of the LEN WILLIAMS novel JUSTICE DEFERRED.
Maguire is not expected to star in the film, which has been taken on by his company MAGUIRE ENTERTAINMENT for a deal with movie studio WARNER BROTHERS.
Set in the swamps of southern Alabama, the film tells the story of BILLY BAY BILLINGS, who's been wrongly convicted under the American state's three-strikes law - giving prisoners no chance of parole.
He schools himself in law and then escapes, changes his name and becomes a lawyer himself, intent on putting away corrupt policemen like the ones who framed him.
For Maguire, the novel deal was the last made for him by the GERSH AGENCY before he moved over to the CREATIVE ARTISTS AGENCY.
