Pop superstar MADONNA will hit the West End once more in a glittering new musical - but she's keeping the details under wraps.

The 46-year-old last stormed the London stage in 2002 with hit play UP FOR GRABS, and she was thrilled with its success.

She says, "My last play sold out within hours. I never missed a performance and above all, I loved it so much."

Her next theatrical effort is going to be a more tuneful affair, and LORD LLOYD-WEBBER, who worked with Madonna in movie musical EVITA (96), is tipped to be her mystery collaborator.

She teases, "I'm planning on hooking up again with a musical mentor who I admire so much.

"And yes, it will be a musical role on the stage."
