SILVIA COLLOCA - LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT FOR COLLOCA + ROXBURGH

Actress SILVIA COLLOCA lied to castmates on the new VAN HELSING movie for months because she feared her onset romance with MOULIN ROUGE! star RICHARD ROXBURGH was "unprofessional".

Colloca fell for the British actor the moment she met him on the set of the action horror film, and the couple are now engaged to be married.

Ironically, the actress plays one of DRACULA's brides in the movie, and Roxburgh plays the blood-sucking Count.

She says, "When he turned up at the read through I thought he was stunning. My co-star, and fellow bride, JOSIE MARAN, noticed immediately.

"I denied it for months because it was not appropriate; it was not really professional. Nobody was surprised when they heard we got engaged."

Meanwhile, Roxburgh admits he too was smitten straight away: "I love to speak Italian. I claimed to be fluent whenever I had a conversation with Silvia. We did a lot of text messaging.

"Silvia couldn't understand it at all, so we had to figure it out but we got there."

The couple plan to wed in a Tuscany, Italy castle in September (04).
