LOU REED - LOU REED SMILES SHOCK!

Stoney-faced rock legend LOU REED has been caught laughing on camera by German filmmaker WIM WENDERS.

The WALK ON THE WILD SIDE singer is famed for his hostility on film and in interviews but laughed hysterically during filming of THE SOUL OF A MAN.

BUENA VISTA SOCIAL club director Wenders made the singer chuckle during an interpretation of a song by Mississippi blues legend SKIP JAMES.

He says,"For Lou, it was so much fun, I am proud to announce he actually laughed. And we have it on tape - no photographer has ever captured him smiling on film."
