Latina diva JENNIFER LOPEZ hopes her sex symbol status will help other voluptuous women feel comfortable with their bodies.

The JENNY FROM THE BLOCK star is proud of her curvaceous figure, which she believes provides a healthier alternative to images of slender female celebrities.

She says, "I feel good about myself. I like being called sexy. What woman doesn't? I've seen articles where they had me grouped in with 'larger women' but I never take that as an insult because they're identifying me as a real person.

"If that helps other people's self-esteem, good. It helps mine too."
