JENNIFER LOPEZ - LOPEZ FACES LEGAL ACTION AFTER CANCELLING TOUR

Superstar JENNIFER LOPEZ is facing possible legal action after cancelling her European and Asian mini-tour. The LOVE DON'T COST A THING singer was set to perform on her first ever tour this month (MAY06), with dates in Mumbai (Bombay), India; Dubai; Moscow, Russia: Sofia, Bulgaria; Istanbul, Turkey; and Thessaloniki, Greece. However, she has postponed her concerts without giving a reason. A statement given to the New India Press reads, "Jennifer Lopez has decided to postpone her entire spring world tour including all of the shows she was to perform in Athens, Baku, Mumbai, Dubai, Moscow, Sofia and Thessaloniki in May 2006." Bulgaria promoters Pick and More tell the Sofia News Agency they are teaming up with the rest of the promoters to sue Lopez, to retrieve the fees they paid her for the 23 July (06) concert. NINA GIRGINOVA, Project Manager at Pick and More, says, "Whatever the reason is, she should have explained it, and even if she had lied it would have been better than not giving the fans any reason at all." Tour promoters have promised full refunds to ticket holders.
