BRIAN LITTRELL - LITTRELL RISKED LIFE ON THE ROAD WITH BACKSTREET BOYS

Pop star BRIAN LITTRELL risked his life at the height of BACKSTREET BOYS' success because he couldn't find time to have crucial heart surgery. The Christian singer was born with a hole in his heart but even when medics told him he could die on the road if he didn't go under the knife, he secretly cancelled surgery appointments so as not to upset his bandmates. Littrell reveals, "They had found a hole that was the size of a half dollar (coin)... My heart was enlarging due to the hole that I had. "I delayed my surgery twice because of the Backstreet Boys' schedule. I could have (died). I had a zero per cent chance of living."
