JOHN LITHGOW - LITHGOW JOINS MOVIE MUSICAL

JOHN LITHGOW has joined the star-studded cast of movie musical DREAMGIRLS. The former THIRD ROCK FROM THE SUN will play a ruthless Hollywood producer who savages BEYONCE KNOWLES' character, DEENA, when she goes in search of a movie career. Lithgow's character has been written into the film version of the stage musical. Meanwhile, the movie, which also features EDDIE MURPHY, DANNY GLOVER and JAMIE FOXX, has a confirmed US release date - 22 December (06).
