LIMP BIZKIT - LIMP BIZKIT GUITARIST LAUNCHES ANOTHER BAND

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

LIMP BIZKIT guitarist WES BORLAND has joined forces with a string of high-profile rockers to form a new band, BLACK LIGHT BURNS - his third attempt at a side project.

Borland has turned his back on unsuccessful ventures BIG DUMB FACE and EAT THE DAY to concentrate his efforts on a collaboration with drummer bandmate JOSH FREESE, former NINE INCH NAILS guitarist DANNY LOHNER and keyboardist JOSH EUSTIS from TELEFON TEL AVIV.

Their as-yet-untitled debut album is due for release early next year (06) and Borland is confident his new vocal role will ensure their music takes off.

He says, "This is stuff from all of these projects that I was frustrated with over the last three years, that all needed a vocalist.

"And I said, 'Screw it, I'm going to learn how to sing, and do it myself.'

"It's been a long time coming and I'm really happy with it."
