Canadian rocker AVRIL LAVIGNE is desperate to become a movie star - despite slamming actresses like MINNIE DRIVER who try to forge music careers.
The 20-year-old COMPLICATED singer famously branded actors-turned-singers "sad and stupid" but has nothing against musicians who enter the film industry, and would love to play a villain.
She says, "Music is my life. But if I was to get a good dark role, I'd love to be an actress."
