Canadian pop star AVRIL LAVIGNE is such a big prankster, she once called her mother to tell her she was pregnant.

The COMPLICATED singer has few limits on the lies she'll tell her friends and relatives on April Fools' Day.

She tells MTV EUROPE, "I always get everybody good on April Fools'. Last April I called up my mum and told her I was pregnant."

She also called her manager and told him she had been in a terrible accident and was in the emergency room with a broken nose and black eyes.
