CHICAGO - LATIFAH REMAKES TRUCK TURNER

CHICAGO star QUEEN LATIFAH is turning her hand to producing after signing a deal to oversee a remake of 1974 thriller TRUCK TURNER.
The BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE actress may also take on a role in the movie, which is being made by film giants MGM.
Truck Turner follows the story of a bounty hunter who carries out a contract killing and becomes the target for a vengeful gang after his victim's lover puts a hit on him.
Latifah will next be seen in comedy sequel BARBERSHOP 2: BACK IN BUSINESS.
