JENNIFER BEALS - L WORD BILLBOARDS REMOVED IN NEW YORK

LATEST: Lewd billboard advertisements for cult lesbian TV show THE L WORD have been taken down in Brooklyn, New York, after a local politician campaigned for their removal.

State Senator MARTY GOLDEN had criticised the NEW YORK CITY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION for allowing posters of the 12 naked female cast members to be plastered on bus stops around the Big Apple.

And, following his success in having the promos taken down from all the billboards in his jurisdiction, Golden now hopes to have all The L Word posters in New York removed.

The controversial billboards feature the likes of JENNIFER BEALS and PAM GRIER with no clothes on.
