SEX AND THE CITY star KRISTIN DAVIS was left stunned during a posh event on Tuesday (17FEB04), when her waiter offered to have sex with her in the bushes.

The stunning actress admits a few of the men she meets thinks she's just like her character on the hit raunchy comedy - but nothing prepared her for the reaction she got from a waiter.

She says, "I was at a really kind of chi-chi event at the NEW YORK PUBLIC LIBRARY. I was with (co-star) SARAH JESSICA PARKER and I was going backstage to find her when this really young handsome waiter who had a tattoo on his neck (came up to me).

"I'd seen him walk by before and I'd noticed his tattoo. He kind of looked at me and I nodded.

"And he looked again and he was like, 'You and me (and pointed outside).' I was like, 'Am I supposed to be there? Am I supposed to do something? Am I in the wrong place?' And he goes, 'Outside, there are bushes!' I was like, 'Wow!' It was very bold, but I was sober and I just couldn't!"
