KANYE WEST - KANYE CRASHES IN AT NUMBER ONE IN AMERICA
Rapper KANYE WEST's second album has crashed into the top of the US charts, as expected, but failed to hit the one million sales mark.
LATE REGISTRATION sold an impressive 860,000 copies in its first week.
It prevented G-UNIT rapper TONY YAYO from scoring a number one with his debut THOUGHTS OF A PREDICATE FELON, which entered the chart at number two after selling a strong 214,000 copies.
It's also a good week for cult indie rockers DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE, who debut at four with their new album PLANS.
