SCARLETT JOHANSSON - JOHANSSON, MCGREGOR AND GARNER RECORD SONGS FOR CHARITY

Actors SCARLETT JOHANSSON, EWAN McGREGOR and JENNIFER GARNER are singing on a new album to benefit the Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestra.

UNEXPECTED DREAMS: SONGS FROM THE STARS will be released by Rhino Records on 11 April (06).

On the album, Johansson sings the classic GEORGE GERSHWIN song SUMMERTIME, McGregor sings SADE's THE SWEETEST GIFT and Garner performs FRANK LOESSSER's MY HEART IS SO FULL OF YOU.

Fourteen actors contributed songs to the album, which will benefit the Philharmonic's music education programs.

Other performers include TERI HATCHER, JEREMY IRONS, ERIC McCORMACK and JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS.

The singers were backed by ensembles of varying sizes consisting of musicians from the LA Philharmonic.
